Cancer Research & Data Hub
EquiThrive Institute serves as a community-centered research and data hub focused on cancer prevention, survivorship, and life after treatment. Through community-engaged research and survivor-informed insights, we examine survivorship outcomes, workforce re-entry, behavioral health, and the systems that shape recovery and opportunity.
Our work translates data and lived experience into actionable insights that help healthcare providers, community organizations, and policymakers strengthen cancer prevention, improve survivorship support, and expand pathways for individuals and families to thrive beyond cancer.
The EquiThrive Cancer Research Agenda
• Cancer Survivorship Outcomes & Patient Experience
• Survivor Transition, Workforce Re-Entry & Social Mobility
• Behavioral Health & Psychosocial Readiness for Re-Engagement
• Systems Design & Cross-Sector Survivorship Models
Data Integration and Community Research
We combine federal, state, and local datasets with community-based surveys and qualitative input to capture both structural trends and lived experience, ensuring the community voice informs research, program design, and policy.
Annual Health & Wealth Equity Index Report
Each year, the Hub publishes the Health & Wealth Equity Index to benchmark disparities and progress across core indicators (income, education, healthcare access, housing stability, and employment), highlight systemic gaps, and track change over time to guide strategic investment and reform.
