Cancer Education & Support Programs
EquiThrive Institute works with schools, faith-based institutions, and community organizations to expand access to cancer education and health literacy. Through workshops, webinars, and community-informed toolkits, we translate complex cancer prevention, screening, and survivorship information into clear, practical knowledge that individuals and families can use to make informed decisions about their health.
By partnering with survivors, EquiThrive provides services for youth and adults navigating survivorship at various points in their journey.
3E Programs
This hub develops and coordinates programs that prepare students and young adults (K–12 through age 25) for careers in cancer research, prevention, and the health sciences. By expanding access to high-quality STEM learning, mentorship, and career exploration, the program helps participants build the academic skills, research exposure, and professional networks needed to pursue education and careers in cancer-focused fields.
Through hands-on learning, mentoring, and partnerships with researchers and community organizations, participants gain early insight into the opportunities available to advance cancer prevention, research, and community health.
Explore 3E ProgramsNational Campaign on Cancer Prevention
This national awareness campaign highlights how economic stability, educational opportunity, and workforce access shape cancer prevention, early detection, and survivorship outcomes. Through storytelling, data briefs, public education materials, and strategic partnerships, the campaign translates research into accessible insights that help individuals and communities better understand how social and economic conditions influence cancer risk and recovery. By elevating these connections, the campaign promotes informed decision-making, strengthens prevention efforts, and advances pathways that support individuals and families across the cancer journey.
The campaign is designed to shift public understanding, inform policy conversations, and support systems-level change that recognizes social mobility as a critical driver of population health.
Cancer Education & Community Partnerships
EquiThrive Institute works with schools, faith-based institutions, and community organizations to expand access to culturally responsive cancer education and health literacy. Through workshops, webinars, and community-informed toolkits, we translate complex cancer prevention, screening, and survivorship information into clear, practical knowledge that individuals and families can use to make informed decisions about their health.
By partnering with trusted community spaces, EquiThrive helps equip youth and adults with the tools to understand cancer risk, navigate care, and support loved ones across the cancer journey. These partnerships strengthen community awareness while fostering environments where prevention, early detection, and survivorship support are accessible and understood across generations.
Cancer Care Packages
EquiThrive provides thoughtfully curated cancer care packages designed to support individuals and families navigating cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. These packages address practical, emotional, and informational needs, helping to reduce stress, promote dignity, and reinforce that no one navigates cancer alone.
Care packages are distributed through community partners and healthcare collaborators to ensure equitable reach and meaningful impact.
Cancer Survivor Postpartum Doula Services
This initiative supports cancer survivors during pregnancy and postpartum by expanding access to culturally responsive doula services. Recognizing the unique physical, emotional, and medical complexities cancer survivors may face, the program centers maternal health, continuity of care, and holistic support during a critical life stage.
The goal is to reduce disparities in maternal outcomes while honoring the lived experiences of cancer survivors.
Cancer Survivor Fertility Support Funding
By addressing financial barriers to fertility preservation and family-building options, the program affirms reproductive autonomy and supports survivorship beyond treatment.
This initiative reflects EquiThrive’s commitment to whole-person wellness and long-term quality of life for cancer survivors.
