Why We Exist?
Surviving cancer is only part of the journey.
Many survivors face complex challenges after treatment, from returning to work or school to navigating financial strain and long-term recovery. EquiThrive Institute exists to support survivors during this critical transition. By elevating survivor voices, fostering community partnerships, and translating data into actionable insights, we work to advance survivor-informed programs that help individuals and families rebuild stability, regain opportunity, and thrive beyond cancer. With a focus on cancer care, the organization empowers individuals and communities to make informed decisions, access preventive resources, and build economic pathways that foster lifelong wellness.

Survivorship-to-Workforce
EquiThrive Institute strengthens cancer care by expanding the coordinated support services survivors need to rebuild their lives after treatment. Through navigation, referrals, career discovery, skill-building, and job development and placement, we connect survivors to education, employment, and community resources that restore stability, independence, and long-term well-being.
Cancer Education & Support Programs
Through workshops, webinars, and community-informed toolkits, we translate complex cancer prevention, screening, and survivorship information into clear, practical knowledge that individuals and families can use to make informed decisions about their health.
By partnering with survivors, EquiThrive provides services for youth and adults navigating survivorship at various points in their journey.
Cancer Research & Data Hub
EquiThrive Institute serves as a community-centered research and data hub focused on cancer prevention, survivorship, and life after treatment. Through community-engaged research and survivor-informed insights, we examine survivorship outcomes, workforce re-entry, behavioral health, and the systems that shape recovery and opportunity.
National Awareness Events & Advocacy
EquiThrive Institute elevates the national conversation around cancer prevention, survivorship, and life after treatment. Through awareness campaigns, convenings, and community-centered initiatives, we bring together survivors, researchers, healthcare leaders, educators, and workforce partners to share knowledge, elevate survivor voices, and spotlight solutions that improve cancer outcomes and long-term recovery.
